I don't think they have u-locks here.  I have been trying to get my hands on one for the three years I have been in KKC.   Damned if I can figure out why not    , but TIT I guess covers it!

Never mind, lah!  I just bought one on eBay.  $28 postage, and undoubtedly they will make me pay a few hundred bahtski duty after waiting on line at the post office to pick it up  .  Ouch!   However, I have been annoying myself the past three years running errands in town, and fumbling around threading a curly cable lock through the wheel spokes and around the frame.

Hi All,

Does anyone know if U-Locks are available in Thailand?  No bicycle or motorbike shops carry them in Khon Kaen where I live.  I asked the shop where I just bought a new bike to order one from Bangers for me, but they say they no dealers in Bangkok!  Can that possibly be true?

Anywho, if you know of a shop in Bangers (or anywhere) who carries them, particularly one that would be willing to send the lock to me up here in KKC, I would be very grateful!
