Tour de Thailand Northern Ride
Chiang Mai to Ayutthaya

10 nights/ 11 days tour includes 8 days of riding a total of 842 kilometers/ 521 miles.

Friday June 1st, 2018 (Referred to as Day 0)
(Meals included – D)

12:00 – 16:00:  Check In and Final Preparations

All riders should be in Chiang Mai no later than 16:00 to join the Northern Ride.
TDA Support Crew will be available starting at 12 noon at the hotel to help check in, get the bikes situated (fittings, test rides, and added equipment), finalize paperwork (insurance, waivers, etc.), and to address any other last minute details.

17:00 – 19:00:  Welcome Reception

Riders, Support Crew, Management, Local Rotarians, Sponsors, and others involved with the ride will meet at a nearby location for socializing and refreshments. There will be complimentary soft drinks and designated alcoholic drinks included as a “Welcome to the Ride”.

19:00 – 21:00:  Opening Ceremony and Dinner Party

21:00:  While many riders will go out in town, others will opt to get some rest before the first day on tour. The choice is yours but make sure to be ready in the morning.


Saturday June 2nd, 2018 (Day 1) – Ride from Chiang Mai to Lamphun (85 km/ 53 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Sunday June 3rd, 2018 (Day 2) – Ride from Lamphun to Thoen (120 km/ 74 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Monday June 4th, 2018 (Day 3) – Ride from Thoen to Tak (124 km/ 77 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Tuesday June 5th, 2018 (Day 4) – Ride from Tak to Sukhothai (82 km/ 51 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

19:00 – Late Night: Dinner Party to Celebrate and the following is a Day Off.

Wednesday June 6th, 2018 (Day Off) – Day Off in Sukhothai
(Meals included – B & D)

Thursday June 7th, 2018 (Day 5) – Ride from Sukhothai to Khamphaeng Phet (86 km/ 53 mi.)(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Friday June 8th, 2018 (Day 6) – Ride from Khamphaeng Phet to Nakhon Sawan (128 km/ 79 mi.)(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Saturday June 9th, 2018 (Day 7) – Ride from Nakhon Sawan to Singburi (138 km/ 85 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

Sunday June 10th, 2018 (Day 8) – Ride from Singburi to Ayutthaya (79 km/ 49 mi.)
(Meals included – B, L, & D)

19:00 – Late Night:  Closing Ceremony and Dinner Party (Complimentary Drinks)

Monday June 11th, 2018 (Departure Day) – Riders need to be checked out of their rooms by 12 Noon. TDA can help to organize transportation for those that are leaving the area on this day.  (Meals included – B)
